The Battle River Teachers is a local organization of the Alberta Teachers’ Association. Our Local Membership consists of 485 full and part-time teachers. There are 37 schools in the Region running from Tofield in the northwest and east along Highway 14 to Viking, and Bashaw in the southwest to Hardisty. It includes the larger urban centre of Camrose as well as the smaller towns of Tofield, Ryley, Viking, Forestburg, Hardisty, Killam, Hay Lakes, Bashaw, Daysland and the rural areas in between.
